Thrive will provide extra support and encouragement for 8-10 specific young people aged 14-16 years who have been referred to us from local schools, youth work agencies and organisations that we work alongside.
Throughout the year, the Thrive programme would create opportunities for the young people to grow in confidence, character and resilience; to discover new interests, to establish new friendships and improve their mental health.
All of the young people will have opportunities to share and talk though any life challenges and will receive individual mentoring, encouragement and support.
Thanks to some specific generous funding we are able to put together a programme containing a number of different experiences and trips. An example of an itinerary would be: two off island trips (e.g., Marwell Zoo, London trip, Go Ape), Tapnell Aqua Park session or Robin Hill day, hike and camping, visit an Island-based farm project (Stonelands) with hands on experience and activities, group sessions and one to one mentoring. All activities will take place outside of school hours.
If you have any questions about Thrive, or wish to discuss a referral, please do not hesitate to contact us.
